in many ways you are right norm,it is better to be near the top winning match's rather than being a the bottom of a higher league ,this may sound arrogant but torquay fans have a league mentality and the new owners have invested heavily so a return to the league simply must happen sooner rather than later,as a league side we had limited sucsess 3trips to wembley and 2 promotions to league 1 only to come sraight back down ,but mostly lows rather than high's,i like like most torquay fans have enjoyed being in the bsp i will continue to do so how ever long it takes to get back up,looking forward to having some good banter with norm keep it in good spirit and enjoy

no problem normandmick,it does not matter whether you are torquay ,aldershot ,stevenage,or farsley ,we are all in the bsp on merit some of us were not good enough for the league and others won promotion to the bsp because they were to good for bsn,s as fans we are all the same ,ive no problem with banter it can be good fun in the right spirit,but at times i felt you went to far with what appeared to be open hatred of torquay,maybe you feel 95/96 was our fault ,it was the fa that denied you promotion that year not torquay we just happened to be the team that got away with ,anyway i will be going to the trophy final and will be taking my 10 year old son what a day out for him,and should torquay-stevenage meet in the play-off final i would be glad to meet you and shake your hand because as fans that's what its about.

thanks kingpinmark,i know you and a few others are true stevenage fans ,and mixing together and having a laugh is whats its about ,shame that norm does not get it,i am working the n/shift so wont be coming but i know torquay have been taking good numbers to away match's so their should be a few up their.

well norm you and buckle must be related because when it comes to football nobody ever agree's with you,on monday night aldershot brought 900 fans with them we mixed in the club bar before the game ,and i stood around talking to a few shots fans we had a laugh some good banter and showed respect for each other's football teams,YOU DONT GET IT DO YOU NORM THATS WHAT BEING A REAL FOOTBALL FAN IS ALL ABOUT,NO ONE ON ANY FORUM LIKES YOU NOT EVEN STEVENAGE FANS MY HOW DO YOU DO IT.
