Relish steps down at Bath

Blue Square South outfit Bath City have lost the services of John Relish as their manager after he stepped down from his post.

However, Relish's decision to step down will not see his involvement with the club come to an end.

Relish has been working on many off-the-field initiatives and now that he does not have the managers title at the club, he is able to continue with his work behind the scenes.

The vacant managers position will not be free for too long as Relish's assistant Adie Britton has been handed the job as the club's new boss, along with Lee Howells as his assistant.

Chairman Geoff Todd told the club's official website: "This was not a surprise or shock but an evolution of the management structure, utilising the abilities and skills that John has nurtured around him in his staff appointments.

"We are certain that he will do this with the same professionalism that he has shown with the first team."
