Aggborough
Jamille Matt helped himself to a brace as Kidderminster Harriers thumped strugglers Bath City 4-1 at Aggborough on Tuesday night.
The Romans started the match like a house on fire and took the lead as early as the sixth minute courtesy of a Lee Vaughan own goal deflected off Scott Murray's free-kick attempt.
But the home side remained composed and battled back to restore parity in the 33rd minute, Kyle Storer's cross from the right finding Steve Guinan who struck home with his head.
As half-time approached, quick thinking from Tom Sharpe caught the City defence unawares with a swift ball upfield for Matt who drilled in a low shot past 'keeper Jason Matthews
Matt picked up his second of the match in the 66th minute after he chased down a Vaughan long ball and then fired in on the rebound after his initial lob over Matthews struck the post.
Substitute Jack Byrne made it four for the hosts two minutes from time when he collected a clearance and found the bottom corner with a shot from the edge of the box.
The result moved Steve Burr's side up to eighth in the Blue Square Bet Premier standings, while Adie Britton's men remain rooted to the foot of the table.
