A largely open traditional ground that is dominated by the old looking Main Stand. This stand at one side of the stadium runs the entire length of the pitch. The seated area is raised above pitch level, meaning that supporters need to climb a small set of steps to access it. It has a large roof that is supported by a number of supporting pillars. A row of small old fashioned floodlights are located on top of it. The other sides of the ground are mostly open terrace, apart from large garage like cover towards one corner. The open canal end is unusual in that it is also raised above the pitch. The ground is completed with a striking set of four traditional floodlights.
There is a Social Club inside the ground. Otherwise just outside the ground there is the Cavalier pub.
I didn't see anything near to the ground. However the city centre is a 15 minute walk away where there are plenty of eating establishments.
Leave the M5 at Junction 6 and take the A449 towards Worcester. Leave the M5 at Junction 6 (Worcester North) and follow the signs towards Worcester along the A449. Continue along the A449 into Worcester, until you reach a T-junction with traffic lights. Turn right at the lights towards Worcester City Centre and St George's Lane is the third turning down on the left. There is no parking at the ground so street parking.
Worcester Foregate Street is situated just under a mile away from the ground. It is served by trains from Birmingham New Street.
