What's The Ground Like?

Although a relatively new ground, its design is traditional. None more so than the Main Stand at the side of the pitch, which has on its roof a triangular gable more reminiscent of old stands, most of which have now long since gone. This stand is all seated and is partly covered to the rear. It does have some supporting pillars running across the middle of it and windshields to either side. It runs in length for about half the length of the pitch and has areas of open terrace to either side. Opposite is a covered terrace that is split into two halves with a ground entrance in-between. One end is another covered terrace, whilst the other is an uncovered. The ground is completed with a set of four tall looking floodlights, situated in each corner of the stadium.

Where to Drink?

There is a club house at the ground behind the Main Stand. Otherwise there doesn't seem to be much in the local area in terms of pubs.

Where to Eat?

The ground is adjacent to a large Tesco superstore which contains a café.

How to Get There by Car & Where to Park

M27 to Junction 1, and then take the A31 in the direction of Bournemouth. Remain on the A31 (by passing Bournemouth) for approximately 25 miles, until the Bere Regis roundabout, which is an intersection with the A35. Take the A35 towards Dorchester. After the dual carriageway section of the bypass, you will come to Kingston Maurward roundabout. Continue across the roundabout along the A35. Turn right at the next roundabout and right again into the Tesco complex. At the roundabout inside the complex, turn right again past the entrance to the petrol station and take the left hand fork to the stadium parking area. Parking is available at the ground.

Nearest Train Station

Dorchester South station is situated around three quarters of a mile away from the ground. It is served by trains from London Waterloo and Weymouth.
