What's The Ground Like?

On one side is a new looking covered all seated stand. This attractive looking stand has a couple of supporting pillars that double as the bases for some floodlight pylons. Adjacent to this stand is a rather unattractive building which houses a social club, one of two at the ground. Both ends are open terraces and there is a slope to the pitch which runs down towards the Park View End. This end is particularly close to the Park View Road behind. This makes me wonder whether a red London Bus has ever been struck by a football from the stadium? On the other side is a classic old looking seated stand. It is quite steep and still contains wooden seating. The roof is supported by a number of supporting pillars running across the front of it.

Where to Drink?

As mentioned there is a Social Club at the ground that welcomes away fans. Otherwise almost next door to the stadium is a pub called the 'Guy Earl of Warwick'.

Where to Eat?

Further on up the road past the 'Guy Earl of Warwick' pub is located the Big Breakfast Café which is on the other side of the road.

How to Get There by Car & Where to Park

Leave the M25 at Junction 2 and take the A2 towards Central London. Leave the A2 at the third exit (signposted A221 to Bexleyheath and Sidcup). Take the A221 towards Bexleyheath and at the next roundabout turn right (3rd exit) continue towards Bexleyheath. You will go under a bridge that carries the A2. At the next roundabout take the second exit into Danson Road. Follow this road until your reach a T-junction. At these traffic lights turn left into Park View Road. The ground is down on the left. There is no car park at the ground as such, but there is plenty of street parking available.

Nearest Train Station

Welling station is situated just under a mile away from the ground. It is served by trains from London Victoria and London Charing Cross.
