Maidenhead United manager Johnson Hippolyte has switched goalkeepers signing Chris Tardif and releasing current no. 1 Louis Wells.
Tardif, a Northern Ireland born Youth International, was released by Basingstoke recently due to financial problems at the Camrose.
He began his career on the south coast gaining Football League experience with Portsmouth and Bournemouth before moving onto Oxford United for three seasons, signing for Basingstoke in the autumn of 2007.
Wells arrived at York Road in the close season of 2007 from Aldershot Town.
He made 24 appearances for the Magpies but was not able to make the position his own.
