Avenue Stadium
Dorchestor Town's director of football Shaun Brooks believes the waterlogged clash against Maidenhead United should have been called off earlier.
Saturday's 1-1 encounter at the Avenue Stadium was called off with just four minutes left to play due to a puddle-ridden pitch.
The fixture has now been rearranged for Tuesday, April 1st and Brooks is keen to get another shot at walking away with the much-needed three points.
He told Non-League Daily: "I've never known a game to be called off with only 4 minutes to go.
"The decision to call it off could have been made earlier, probably 15 or 20 minutes into the second half because the ball was sticking in puddles, tackles were flying in and it became unplayable.
"We are pleased to have a chance to play Maidenhead again as we want another go at getting the three points and that's what we need in the situation we are in."
"Maidenhead's need for points isn`t quite as great as ours so we would definitely like another bash at them.
"We need to be getting three points from games but we can't work much harder than we have been to get them.
"Our form in the last three games has been excellent."
