Sutton United caretaker manager Jimmy Dack has revealed that he's still in the dark over his future at the Blue Square South club.
Former manager Ian Hazel stepped down following a poor start to the campaign and was subsequently replaced by Ernie Howe.
However, Howe didn't stay in charge for long and Dack was drafted in to steady the ship at Borough Sports Ground.
"It is still up in the air, to be honest," Dack told the Surrey Comet.
"I am hoping things will get sorted but nothing has been agreed.
"Everyone knows I love this club but there has to be a level playing field.
"We need to have a competitive group of players for next season and, for that, you sometimes need to invest.
"I will not be letting my heart rule my head."
