Seagulls swoop for Burnell

Blue Square South strugglers Weston-super-Mare have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Chesham United Striker Danny Burnell on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old frontman has just recently recovered from a broken wrist sustained whilst on loan at Farnborough Town.

He returned to Chesham at the start of January but manager Andy Leese has decided to farm him out again for another month-long spell.

Burnell has made 145 appearances for Chesham, scoring 90 goals in the process and was joint top scorer in the Southern League Midland Division with 27 goals in the 2007/08 campaign.

He was also runner up last season with an impressive total of 31 goals.
