Tuesday's North & South wrap

The Butcher's Arms Ground played host to a festival of goals as Droylsden and Eastwood Town drew 3-3 in their Blue Square Bet North clash on Tuesday night.

Dale Johnson (31, 62) netted a brace for the hosts, but the visitors came back to take the lead after Josh (63) and David Haggerty (66, 75) found the target. Danny Gardner scored the equaliser in stoppage time for the Bloods.

A stoppage-time strike from Damien Reeves saw Altrincham salvage a draw in their away game at Blyth Spartans. Glen Taylor (57) put the hosts on the scoreboard before Reeves' late heroics.

FC Halifax Town and Gainsborough Trinity shared the spoils after a 2-2 draw. Lee Gregory (7) and Simon Garner (72) were on target for the hosts, but their efforts were equalled by Andrew Boyce (45) and Paul Connor (58).

Vauxhall Motors were held to a 1-1 draw by Guiseley after Chris Senior (57) cancelled out Liam Wynn's 26th minute strike.

In the two Blue Square Bet South ties of the night, Eastleigh scored in the final minutes to draw 1-1 with Salisbury City. Robbie Matthews put City in front in the 16th minute but Graeme Montgomery (85) netted for the hosts.

Ali Chaaban (11) put Staines Town in front early on in their clash with Dartford, but a second-half blitz saw the visitors come out on top 4-1. Tom Bonner (45), Connor Essam (58), Danny Harris (72) and Adam Green (83) were in a goal-scoring mood for the Darts.
