Kidderminster Harriers take on Cambridge United at Aggborough on Thursday

U's run to continue at Kiddy

Thursday December 6, 2007

Kidderminster Harriers v Cambridge United (19.45, Live on Setanta 1)

Prices correct at time of writing (11am, Wednesday December 5, 2007).

Home 13/8 Draw 11/5 Away 11/8

This is a huge match for Cambridge who are one of the form teams along with Aldershot, the league leaders, and Forest Green. In fact, only Aldershot are in better form in the last six games than Cambridge and I think that run will continue against Kidderminster. There is a special price with Blue Square which I think is a terrific bet in this match, it's 8/11 Cambridge Draw No Bet.

It wouldn't surprise me if The U's win the match and you can be on at 11/8 but a safer betting strategy is the Draw No Bet option. Kidderminster are usually good at home but not this season. Amazingly they've lost five of their 11 home games, which is much more than you would expect.

Cambridge are playing well, they are into the third round of the FA Cup, and I think they are going to be in the shake-up in the Blue Square Premier at the end of the season. Whether or not they are going to win the title will depend on matches like this one at Aggborough.

If Cambridge win, the gap will be just five points and if they draw then they'll be seven points behind the pace-setters Aldershot. I'd imagine that Cambridge will be challenging Torquay and Aldershot and they'll be in the play-offs come the end of the season.

Verdict: Away win

Best Bet: 8/11 Cambridge Draw No Bet
