Raise A Glass To Top Shots

Aldershot v Woking

Prices correct at time of writing (2pm Sunday, 30th December, 2007).

Home 4/9 Draw 11/4 Away 11/2

Blue Square Premier leaders Aldershot take on Woking after beating The Cards 1-0 on Boxing Day. Woking are 14th in the table and have struggled this season. I think this will be a tight game but it's a home win for the Shots for me.

Verdict: Home win

Burton Albion v Stafford Rangers

Home 1/3 Draw 100/30 Away 13/2

Burton are having a great season and should be in the play-offs come the end of the campaign. Stafford have won just once so far this season and lost 3-0 at home to Albion on Boxing Day. I think the Brewers will win this one.

Verdict: Home win

Crawley Town v Oxford United

Home 5/4 Draw 9/4 Away 7/4

Crawley have a good home record while Oxford have won four, drawn two and lost five on the road this season. The U's beat Crawley 1-0 at home on Boxing Day but with Crawley's record at the Broadfield Stadium, I'm going for a home win for the Red Devils.

Verdict: Home win

Droylsden v York City

Home 9/4 Draw 9/4 Away Evens

Droylsden are now bottom of the Blue Square Premier after Northwich's recent upturn in form. The Bloods lost 2-1 at York on Boxing Day and the Minstermen are sure to be in confident mood after the appointment of Colin Walker as permanent manager. City also have a good away record so I'm going for a victory for the Minstermen.

Verdict: Away win

Ebbsfleet United v Grays Athletic

Home 11/10 Draw 9/4 Away 2/1

Ebbsfleet drew 1-1 with Grays on Boxing Day and this is sure to be a close match at Stonebridge Road. Grays have a good away record but I'm going for a home win for Liam Daish's side.

Verdict: Home win

Halifax v Farsley Celtic

Home 8/11 Draw 12/5 Away 16/5

Haifax lost 3-0 at Farsley Celtic on Boxing Day and will be looking to bounce back and take three points in this West Yorkshire derby. Halifax have drawn six times at home this season while Farsley have a poor away record. I'm going for Halifax Draw No Bet, so if the Shaymen draw, you get your money back.

Verdict: Halifax Draw No Bet

Kidderminster v Forest Green

Home 6/5 Draw 11/5 Away 15/8

Kidderminster and Forest Green shared a 2-2 draw on Boxing Day and this clash is sure to be a tight game. Forest Green have a good away record, they've won five, drawn three and lost three so far this season, so I'm going for an away win for Rovers.

Verdict: Away win

Northwich Victoria v Altrincham

Home 11/10 Draw 9/4 Away 2/1

Northwich have had an upturn in form in recent weeks and beat Altrincham 2-1 away on Boxing Day, so the Vics will be in confident mood. Northwich are now also off the bottom of the table. Altrincham are fourth-from-bottom and Northwich third-from-bottom so this match is a real six pointer. I'm going for a home win for Northwich to continue their recent good form.

Verdict: Home win

Stevenage Borough v Rushden & Diamonds

Home 8/15 Draw 13/5 Away 9/2

Stevenage and Rushden & Diamonds drew 0-0 on Boxing Day but Boro have a good home record and I think they'll take the points in this match as Peter Taylor's side aim to consolidate their place in the play-off positions. Rushden have struggled this season and although they have a better record on the road than at home, it's a Stevenage win for me.

Verdict: Home win

Torquay v Exeter City 12.00pm kick-off

Home 4/6 Draw 12/5 Away 7/2

Torquay lost 4-3 at Exeter on Boxing Day but I think The Gulls will win this Devon derby. Torquay have a great home record, they've won eight, drawn one and lost one so far this season. Exeter have a decent away record but with Torquay looking to close the gap on leaders Aldershot, I'm siding with the home team.

Verdict: Home win

Weymouth v Salisbury

Home 6/5 Draw 11/5 Away 15/8

Weymouth and Salisbury drew 1-1 at the McEnhill Stadium on Boxing Day and this match is hard to call. Weymouth have a poor home record, while Salisbury are poor on the road, so I'm going for a draw in this one.

Verdict: Draw
