Lewes and Eastbourne Borough are tied at the top of the Blue Square South table after Saturday's round of fixtures while Sutton and St Albans remain in the drop zone.
Bath City 3-0 St Albans
Bath city maintained their great start to the new campaign with a comfortable win over the Saints at Twerton Park.
the home side opened their account in the 22nd minute with a Dave Gilroy penalty kick and Darren Edwards bagged their second on 50 minutes. Adie Harris found the back of the net just six minutes later to help his side pick up a the win at home.
Bromley 3-2 Basingstoke
The Ravens did well to come back from a goal down to clinch victory over Basingstoke Town and maintain their unbeaten record at Hayes Lane on Saturday.
The visitors broke the deadlock after 25 minutes through Michael Charles and Bromley equalised just after the break thanks to Gareth Williams.
Scott Fitzgerald restored Basingstoke's lead in the 56th only for Barry Moore to equalise four minutes later.
Danny Hockton bagged the last goal of the match in the 68th minute with a well placed flick into the far corner to help his side earn all three points.
Cambridge City 4-1 Sutton Utd
The Lilywhites eased past Sutton United at City Ground on Saturday afternoon after putting four goals past their opponents.
Louis Gonsalves scored Sutton's solitary goal in the 11th minute while Neil midgley and Lee Chaffey scored for the hosts in the second half.
Dorchester 1-2 Weston-Super-Mare
Weston-Super-Mare picked up all three points against the Magpies at The Avenue Stadium thanks to a second-half double from Ryan Harley.
The hosts went ahead after just four minutes as John Docker coolly slotted home a penalty kick but Harley was the man of the hour bagging a goal in the 60th to equalise and netting the winner five minutes before time.
Fisher Athletic 0-1 Bishop's Stortford
The Bishops had enough gas in their tank to see off the challenge of Fisher Athletic at Champion Hill Stadium.
Defender Craig Edwards bagged the only goal of the match in the 30th minute to help his side earn a valuable three points.
Hampton & Richmond 1-1 Maidenhead Utd
The Beavers were held to a draw by Maidenhead Utd at Beveree Stadium as they lost ground on the chasing pack. Lawrence Yaku netted for the home side after 24 minutes.
Havant and Waterlooville 1-2 Lewes
High-flying Lewes returned the top of the Blue Square South table on Saturday afternoon after edging out the Hawks by a single goal at Westleigh Park.
Tony Taggart put the hosts ahead after 37 minutes while Andrew Drury and Matthew Groves netted for Lewes after the break.
Hayes & Yeading 1-1 Eastbourne Borough
Hayes & Yeading played to a draw with high-flying Eastbourne Borough at Church road on Saturday with neither of the sides able to produce an incisive finish.
The visitors went ahead in the 57th minute thanks to Scott Ramsey but Will Hendry popped up with the equaliser just six minutes later.
Newport County 2-0 Braintree Town
The Exiles claimed a promotion play-off spot on Saturday after recording a comfortable win over Braintree Town at Newport Stadium.
The game only came to life late in the second half as goals from Julian Aslop and Craig Hughes earned the home side all three points.
Thurrock 1-0 Bognor Regis Town
Struggling Thurrock returned to winning ways over Bognor Regis Town on Saturday thanks to dramatic late winner.
The game looked to be heading for a goalless draw but David Bryant popped in injury time to bag a very important goal for his club.
After this latest result, Thurrock move out of the drop zone and into 18th place with eight points while Bognor sit just above them with the same total and a better goal difference.
Welling 3-1 Eastleigh
The wings will be buoyed by their latest performance after collecting a valuable three points over Eastleigh at Park View Road.
Leon Solomon opened for the hosts after 36 minutes and Sabian Quintyn bagged their second ten minutes after the break.
Richard Carpenter notched their third just three minutes later and Matthew Hann scored Eastleigh's only goal in the 79th.
