There were just seven Blue Square South fixture played on Tuesday evening and Eastbourne Borough held on to pole position on the table despite collecting just one point.
Bromley 3-4 St Albans
St Albans picked up a much-needed three points on Tuesday evening after edging out Bromley in front of 402 fans at Hayes Lane.
Bromley's Sam Wood broke the deadlock after just three minutes but the Saints responded well with a quickfire brace from Lee Clarke and single goal by Paul Bruce to make it 3-1 after just seven minutes.
There was more to come though as Francis Duku pulled one back for the hosts in the 25th minute.
Hasim Deen restored the visiting side's two-goal lead in the 74th minute only for Bromley's Gareth Williams to reduce the deficit once again.
Cambridge City 1-1 Eastbourne Borough
League leaders Eastbourne Borough scored a late goal to earn a share of the spoils with Cambridge City at the City Ground.
The hosts drew first blood when Michael Gash found the back of the net after seven minutes but substitute Nathan Crabb popped up in the 84th to net the equaliser.
Despite picking up just one point, Eastbourne remain top of the table with a four-point cushion while the Lilywhites hover above the dreaded relegation zone on 15 points.
Dorchester 1-1 Bognor Regis Town
Bognor Regis did well to come back from a goal down to earn a share of the spoils with Dorchester Town at the Avenue Stadium.
The first half ended goalless as neither side could produce an incisive breakthrough but Dorchester opened their account on the hour mark thanks to Jones Awah.
However, the visitors didn't give up the battle and got the breakthrough they were looking for in the 85th minute when Luke Nightingasle popped up to bag the equaliser.
Hampton & Richmond 1-1 Bishop's Stortford
Promotion hopefuls Hampton & Richmond Borough and Bishop's Stortford played to a hard-fought draw at Beveree Stadium on Tuesday night.
Ian Hodges opened for the home side after 11 minutes but the Blue rallied and got their eqauliser six minutes after the break as Tim Langer converted a Greg Pearson cross to help his side pick up a valuable away point.
Hayes & Yeading 2-1 Fisher Athletic
Hayes & Yeading opened up a bigger gap on the relegation zone on Tuesday evening after edging out Fisher Athletic at Church Road.
All the goals came in the second half and the visitors drew first blood when Wesley Thomas found the back of the net in the 55th minute.
However, Hayes & Yeading responded well with goals from Kieran Knight and Stafford Palmer to make the final score 2-1.
Thurrock 2-1 Sutton Utd
Hakan Heyrettin's Thurrock moved closer to mid-table after claiming a home victory over rock-bottom Sutton united.
Fola Orilonishe opened for the home side after 34 minutes and Che Stadhart doubled their lead three minutes later.
Despite playing in front of their home crowd, Thurrock could never really put the game beyond the reach of their opponents.
Sutton's Asher Hudson popped up in the 82nd minute to give his side a way back into the game but Thurrock managed to hold firm until the final whistle.
Welling 0-2 Braintree Town
The Iron picked up a valuable three points with a comfortable win over Welling United at Park View Road.
Second half goals from Riddle and Baker assured the strugglers of a much-needed victory.
