Eastbourne Borough managed to hold on to top spot on the blue Square South table on Saturday afternoon while Maidenhead lifted themselves out of the drop zone.
Basingstoke 3-1 St Albans
Mid-table Basingstoke cruised to a comfortable victory over St Albans at the Camrose on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts got off to a flying start when Robert Watkins and Michael Charles put them ahead with goals in the 12th and 14th minutes respectively.
Lee Clarke pulled one back in the 79th minute but man of the match, Steve Laidler popped up minutes later to restore his side's.
Bath City 4-0 Bishop's Stortford
Bath City gave the Bishops a lesson in football on Saturday afternoon as they cruised to a comfortable victory in front of 716 fans at Twerton Park.
Mark McKeever and Chris Holland netted in the first half and Dave Gilroy bagged an impressive late, second-half brace to complete the rout.
Braintree Town 3-2 Bognor Regis Town
Braintree Town managed to come away with all three points in a thrilling encounter at Cressing Road on Saturday.
The Iron opened through midfielder Martin in the 30th minute but Bognor's Alex Haddon bagged an equaliser just three minutes later.
Braintree couldn't contain Haddon as he popped up again five minutes later to give his side the lead.
The hosts rallied after the break and goals from Chris Sullivan and substitute Leon Archer ensured them of all three points.
Bromley 2-2 Newport County
Bromley and Newport County cancelled each other out on Saturday afternoon as neither side could put the game beyond doubt.
Gareth Williams put the home side ahead in the 17th minute only for Newport's Charlie Griffin to equalise seven minutes later.
The hosts reclaimed the lead after 70 minutes thanks to a Garath McCleary effort but the Exiles drew level nine minutes later thanks to Julian Aslop.
Cambridge City 1-1 Eastleigh
High-flying Eastleigh managed to come back from a goal down to earn a point against Cambridge City at City Ground.
David Theobald put the hosts ahead after just two minutes and Eastleigh striker David Forbes equalised in the 20th minute.
Dorchester 0-1 Hampton & Richmond
The Magpies slumped to another home defeat on Saturday as a solitary Hampton & Richmond goal left them empty-handed.
Over 400 fans turned out for the encounter and had to wait until the second half for the match-winning goal as Lawrence Yaku netted in the 55th minute.
Eastbourne Borough 1-0 Thurrock
League leaders Eastbourne Borough could only net one goal against a committed Thurrock side at Langney Sport Club.
Allan Tait scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute to ensure that his side maintained pole position with Lewes hot on the their heels.
Havant & Waterlooville 1-0 Fisher Athletic
An early goal was all that separated these two sides in front of almost 550 fans at Westleigh Park on Saturday.
The hosts made an early breakthrough thanks to Richard Pacquette and managed to maintain their single-goal lead for the rest of the match.
Hayes & Yeading 3-3 Sutton Utd
Rock-bottom Sutton United collected a valuable point on Saturday in a thrilling six-goal encounter at Church Road.
The home side were in a commanding lead heading into the break, as a Joshua Scott brace and Kieran Knight effort looked to have settled the affair.
However, Hayes & Yeading were caught napping as lowly Sutton proved they are not to be taken lightly.
Nicky Greene, Craig Dundas and Jack Haverson netted for the visitors to record a memorable comeback in front of 223 fans.
Welling 0-2 Maidenhead Utd
Maidenhead recorded a much-needed victory over Welling united at Park View Road, in what turned out to be a comfortable result for the visitors.
Despite being away from home, the Magpies hardly put a foot wrong the entire match and goals from Manny Williams and Dwane Lee ensured they collected the three points.
Weston-Super-Mare 1-2 Lewes
Steve King's Lewes side collected an important away win over Weston-Super-Mare to keep the pressure on leaders Eastbourne.
Striker Lewis Powell put the hosts ahead after 29 minutes but goals from Paul Booth and Matt Groves settled the result.
