AFC Wimbledon moved to the top of the Blue Square South table on Tuesday evening after another convincing performance.
Danny Clay's 59th minute strike was enough to ensure victory for Dorchester Town against Eastleigh at Silverlake Stadium.
The three points will be just the salve that Shaun Brooks' side needed after a rather inauspicious start to the season, with the result moving them up to 17th spot on the Blue Square South table.
Hayes & Yeading lost out to a last minute Sam Higgins goal in an absolute corker of a game at Church Road.
Alex Bentley opened the scoring for the visitors in the 16th minute during a first half that passed by in relatively subdued fashion.
But Ram Marwa's equaliser for United on the 50th minute mark opened the floodgates. Bentley picked up his second a mere three minutes later as The Martyrs reclaimed the lead.
Higgins scored the first goal of his brace in the 72nd minute as the visitors looked to put the result beyond doubt.
Kieran Knight had other plans however and he drew the home side level with a brace of his own, the first coming 20 minutes from time to make it 2-3 before another on 90 minutes looked to have secured a share of the spoils.
Higgins claimed back all three points for the visitors with a last gasp effort. The result sees The Fish move up to 18th spot, still dangerously close to the relegation zone.
Jonathan Hunt's calmly taken spot-kick in the 21st minute was the only bright spot in an otherwise dull affair at Park View Road.
Neither side created many chances in a match that saw St Albans move up to tenth spot on the league table, closing the gap on the Wings to a solitary point in the process.
Leon McKenzie scored in both halves to earn Thurrock a well-deserved away-victory at Cressing Road Stadium.
Braintree took the lead through Ryan Moran two minutes after the half-hour mark but the lead was cancelled out by a fine McKenzie strike three minutes later.
The home side then squandered a few chances but Thurrock made the most of an extended period of possession when Mckenzie completed his brace in the 52nd minute.
The result was not enough to lift Thurrock out of the relegation zone however, but manager Hakan Heyrettin will feel that his side can build on what was a fine performance.
Bognor Regis and Bromley played out an entertaining stalemate at Nyewood Lane on Tuesday evening.
Warren McBean put Bromley ahead in the ninth minute when he ran on to a long ball over the top - with claims of offside waved away - and caught Rocks keeper Chris Tardif unsure whether to come out to him or not before taking it round him and firing past a defender on the line.
But The Rocks were level in the 57th minute when Tom Clarke lobbed it over Williams after a defender made a hash of a through-ball.
The result leaves The Rocks err...rock bottom of the Blue Square South.
AFC Wimbledon moved to top of the Blue Square South table with a convincing demolition of a thoroughly outclassed Havant and Waterlooville side.
The Hawks fought well for the first half and went into the break with the scores level at 0-0.
But The Wombles came out for the second half like a team possessed and it took Danny Kedwell just three minutes into the second-half to put them in the lead.
Five minutes later it was the turn of Jon Main to find the back of the net as the Havant defence stumbled around like a punch-drunk fighter
While they recovered somewhat they never looked like getting back into the game and Kedwell completed both his brace and the rout with ten minutes to go.
