Northwich Victoria suffered their first defeat of the new Blue Square North season after injuries disrupted the club's impressive start.
The Vics lost 5-1 at Droylsden and remain second from bottom after reducing the 10 point deficit they started their campaign with to minus three.
Defender Junior Brown and strikers Matt Bailey and Jon Newby were all sidelined for Andy Preece's side, but it was Natt Kerr's exit from the match, early in the first half, that turned the tide and allowed Droylsden to take advantage.
The Bloods scored two goals in quick succession with Tony Gray grabbing the opener after 26 minutes and Shaun Whalley netting a second just five minutes later.
Striker Jonny Allan reduced the deficit when he netted in the 51st minute but Danny Meadowcroft's exit from the game, also through injury, ended any hope the away side had of a comeback.
Whalley scored a second in the 64th before Steven Beck added a fourth in the 71st minute with Alex Brown having the final say, 12 minutes from time.
Hyde United's come-from-behind 3-2 win over Gainsborough saw them claim top spot in the Blue Square North on Monday night.
The Tigers had previously only dropped one point and always looked dangerous despite going two goals down in the first half.
Luke Beckett opened the scoring for Trinity after 13 minutes with Chris Hurst netting moments after the restart. But a David McNiven double, after 56 and 71 minutes gave Neil Tolson's men something to play for with Ash Eastham completing the comeback in the 76th minute.
Basingstoke took top spot in the Blue Square South after their 1-1 draw with Worcester.
With Dover and Havant and Waterlooville also drawing their respective ties, The Dragons lead the division by a solitary point.
Basingstoke thought they had the game in the bag with Tom Williamson's 34th minute goal separating the sides, but with just three minutes of the match remaining, Craig Wilding struck to claim a share of the points.
Chelmsford were denied three points against Dover, in a match that ended 1-1 after fighting back from one-nil down - when Rob Edmans' headed goal at the end of the match was ruled out for offside.
Captain Dave Rainford, who was making his first start of the season, buried his 52nd-minute penalty to level the scores after Olly Schulz had put his side into a first half lead on 36th minutes.
Havant and Waterlooville had to fight for a point in their Monday night fixture against Bath City that ended 2-2.
Manny Williams netted first and last as he opened the scoring it the seventh minute before grabbing a late equaliser in the 89th. This after Mark Badman got his side on level terms in the 75th minute before Darren Edwards' 77th minute penalty saw the Stripes take a hard-fought lead.
