Tuesday's Blue Square South Wrap

Eastleigh bounced back to winning ways with a huge victory over Bromley on Tuesday night, while Welling came out on top against 10-man St Albans City in a five-goal thriller.

Bishop's Stortford and Staines Town had to settle for a point apiece in a match that offered up four goals at Woodside Park.

The hosts broke the deadlock after Duane Jackman found the net with a 19th minute striker but Staines forward Elliot Onochie restored parity seven minutes later.

Midfielder Howard Newton put the visitors in the lead with a 62nd minute goal and Ashley Nicholls fired in a 67th minute effort to put the sides back on level terms.

Eastleigh sent out a warning to the rest of league on Tuesday night with a massive victory over a hapless Bromley at Silverlake Stadium.

Andy Forbes put the Spitfires ahead with a ninth minute strike before Brett Williams made it 1-1 with a 23rd minute effort.

However, it was all one-way traffic in the home side's favour after that point as Jamie Brown and Tom Jordan both found the back of the net before the half-time whistle.

Bromley missed a 51st minute penalty to make matters worse before Forbes doubled his tally four minutes later from the penalty spot.

Peter Adeniyi extended their lead with a strike in the 78th minute and defender put the finishing touches on a dominant Eastleigh performance Aaron Martin with 90th minute goal.

Welling United did just enough to see off the challenge of St Albans City in a match that produced five goals at ParK View Road.

The Wings cruised a three-goal lead in the first period thanks to goals from Michael Dean, Lee Clarke and Andy Sambrook.

Solomon Shields did the Saints no favours in the 51st minute when he received his marching orders but they pulled one back through Bradley Quinton in the 65th minute.

Quinton made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 76th minute but the hosts held their nerve to claim all three points.
