Saturday's Blue Square South Wrap

Newport County moved to a century of points for the season in style as they thumped Dover 3-0 at Newport Stadium.

Goals from Chris Todd, Kerry Morgan and Danny Rose secured the points for the Blue Square South champions as they continue to impress ahead of life in the Blue Square Premier next term.

Dover drop to third in the standings following Chelmsford's 1-0 win over Worcester at Melbourne Stadium.

Warren McBean netted the only goal of the game just after the break as the Clarets bounced back from their mid-week defeat to Hampton & Richmond.

Braintree Town kept up their push for a play-off place as Sean Marks's strike gave them a 1-0 win over Basingstoke.

Midfielder Harry Arter ensured that Woking remain in the last play-off spot as his lone goal proved the difference against St Albans City at Clarence Park.

Bath City kept the pressure on the other play-off hopefuls as they won 2-1 at Bromley to move within one point of the top five.

Kaid Mohamed opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute, but the home side were back on level terms a few minutes later when Chris Holland bundled the ball into his own net.

However, Holland turned from villain to hero when he netted the winner in the second-half for the Romans.
