Mark Goldberg's Bromley claimed pole position in the Blue Square Bet South standings after Tuesday evening's round of league fixtures.
Braintree Town maintained their unbeaten status with a 3-2 win against newcomers Boreham Wood at Cressing Road Stadium.
The Iron were 2-0 up at half-time thanks to a brace from Mark Jones (18, 33) but Elliott Godfrey pulled one back for Boreham in the 65th minute.
Braintree restored their two-goal advantage thanks to Jamie Guy's 88th minute penalty, rendering Mario Noto's 90th minute penalty for the Wood nothing more than a consolation.
Bromley made it four wins from four as a 60th minute Warren McBean goal was enough to give them victory against Havant and Waterlooville at the Courage Stadium.
New boys Dartford picked up their first win of the new campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bishop's Stortford at Princes Park.
Danny Harris opened Dartford's account in the 19th minute and Charlie Sheringham doubled their tally three minutes before the half-time break.
The result was put beyond any doubt when Carl Rook found the back of the net with an 80th minute strike.
Dover Athletic moved up to fifth position in the Blue Square Bet South standings with a 2-0 win against Liam Daish's Ebbsfleet United at Stonebridge Road.
Adam Birchall broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute and Nicky Nicolau wrapped up the points when he hit the target with a 81st minute effort.
Staines Town rallied back from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils with St Albans City at Wheatsheaf Park.
The Saints went into the half-time break with a two-goal lead thanks to James Fisher (16) and Inih Effiong (28).
However, Marc Charles-Smith pulled one back for Staines one minute after the restart and Leroy Griffiths hit the target with a 69th minute strike to restore parity.
Elsewhere, Thurrock and Hampton & Richmond Borough played to a 2-2 draw at Ship Lane, while Welling United came out on top against Chelmsford City in a five-goal thriller at Park View Road.
Steve King's Farnborough beat Weston-super-Mare 2-0 at Woodspring Stadium and Graham Baker's Woking had enough about them to see off the challenge of Lewes at Kingfield Stadium.
