Saturday's Blue Square Bet South Wrap

Bromley kept their 100 per cent record intact as they beat Welling United 2-1 in the Blue Square Bet South on Saturday afternoon.

The Ravens went into the encounter at the top of the table and the victory at The Courage Stadium has kept them at the summit.

After a goalless first half, Bromley came out firing in the second period and have a brace from Warren McBean to thank for their latest three-point haul.

Ben Billing grabbed the consolation strike for the visitors shortly before the final whistle was blown.

Braintree Town moved into second place thanks to a 3-0 win over Chelmsford City at the Cressing Road Stadium.

The Iron took a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to a Sean Marks effort in the 33rd minute. Marks put any fears that the Town faithful may have had to rest with a second in the 70th minute and Kenny Davis put the cherry on top with a third in the 88th minute.

Dover Athletic kept their unbeaten record going thanks to a fine 3-0 victory away at Lewes' Dripping Pan.

An own goal from The Rooks' Anthony Barness gave the visitors the lead in the 18th minute. Elliott Charles doubled Dover's lead in the 60th minute and Harrison Crawford grabbed a third eight minutes later to put the result beyond any doubt.

Dorchester Town picked up their first point of the campaign via a goalless draw with Havant & Waterlooville at the Avenue Stadium.

Fellow early-season strugglers Boreham Wood also managed to pick up a point this weekend thanks to a 0-0 draw away at Staines Town.

St Albans City, who are still looking for their first win of the new campaign, could not make home ground advantage count as they drew 1-1 with Hampton & Richmond Borough at Clarence Park.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, The Saints took the lead through Adam Martin in the 50th minute.

However, their hopes of claiming their first win of the season were dashed as James Simmons netted 16 minutes later.
