Monday's Blue Square Bet South Wrap

Bromley continued their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 away victory over play-off chasing Bishop's Stortford on Monday.

Harrison Dunk's 76th minute penalty gave the Ravens their sixth straight win as they opened up a four point lead at the top of the Blue Square Bet South standings.

Braintree Town remain in second despite only managing to muster up a goalless draw at Ebbsfleet United.

Dover now move level on points with the Iron after their hard-earned 1-0 win over Thurrock at Perry's Crabble Stadium.

Adam Birchall's 19th minute spot-kick was the difference between the two sides as the Fleet still remain win-less this season.

Chelmsford got back to winning ways following their defeat to Braintree at the weekend as they overcame Dartford 2-0 in an encounter played at Melbourne Stadium.

Billy Bricknell opened the scoring in the 28th minute and any hope the visitors had of getting back into the game was put to bed by Anthony Cook's 85th minute strike.

Maidenhead United handed St Albans City their first loss of the season with a 2-1 win at York Road.

Andrew Fagan gave the home side the lead in the 50th minute and Ashley Smith doubled their tally on 75 minutes before Ryan Frater netted a late consolation for the visitors.

Welling responded well from their defeat at the weekend as they beat Lewes 2-1 at Park View Road.

Graeme Andrews put the Wings ahead as early as the 5th minute and when Andy Pugh netted their second in the 68th it looked to be game over.

However, Lewes refused to give up and they managed to pull back on goal as Simon Wormull netted from the penalty spot in the 90th minute, but it proved to be too little too late.

Basingstoke Town slid down to eighth in the standings with a 1-0 loss to Weston-super-Mare in a tightly-fought encounter at Woodspring Stadium.

Jamie Price's goal in the 30th minute proved to be enough for the home side to claim the three points.

Eastleigh came from behind to earn a valuable draw on the road as they played out to a 2-2 stalemate with Havant & Waterlooville at West Leigh Park.

It was the Hawks who took the lead in a see-saw battle as Sammy Igoe gave them the edge after 28 minutes.

But his strike was cancelled out by Jamie Slabber's 45th minute equaliser.

The home side looked to have snatched the three points when Mustafa Tiryaki put them back in front, however, Chris Holland's goal on the stroke of full-time ensured the honours ended even.

Dorchester, who remain bottom, picked up a vital away point with a 2-2 draw at Hampton & Richmond Borough.

After a dull first half the game sprung to life with four goals in seven minutes in the second period.

David Tarpey put the Beavers in the 69th minute, but goals from Matt Groves and Ryan Moss in the 73rd and 76th minutes respectively gave the visitors the edge.

However, their joy was short-lived as Lawrence Yaku gave his side a share of the spoils with a 77th minute strike.

Meanwhile, Farnborough and Staines Town played out to a goalless draw and Boreham Wood and Woking also ended goalless at Meadow Park.
