Saturday's Blue Square Bet South Wrap

Dartford and Welling both gained ground on Blue Square Bet South leaders Woking, who were held by lowly Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Josh Huggins (43) opened the scoring for Borough before Paris Cowan-Hall (65) pulled a goal back in the second half in a match where Woking were stifled as Jack King saw red.

Second-placed Dartford had no such issues as they saw off mid-table side Salisbury City. Jacob Erskine (46) and James Rogers (52) were the goal scorers for the Darts, who are now 12 points off the pace.

They share the same points tally as Welling United who defeated play-off chasing Dover Athletic with Jack Parkinson (78) popping up with a late goal.

Bromley, meanwhile, picked up a vital three points in their attempt to avoid the drop with a 1-0 win over fourth-placed Chelmsford City, Hakeem Araba (64) the solitary goalscorer.

The Ravens are now five points clear of the relegation places with the Clarets one point above Sutton, who occupy the final play-off place.

Sutton United had to work had for their three points this weekend with Weston-super-Mare pushing them all the way in a 3-2 win.

Sahr Kabba netted the first of his two goals in the 19th minute before Kyle Vassell (50) and Harry Beautyman (56) turned the tie on its head.

Kabba levelled the scores with 26 minutes of the match remaining but Craig Dundas secured all three points for his side with 75 minutes on the clock.

The Seagulls remain on 44 points, now some 11 points off the play-off places.

Moving down the table and Eastleigh heaped more misery on Truro City with a 3-1 win.

Bradley Bubb (16) and Jamie Brown (27) put their side into an early lead before Jake Ash (64) got his side back into the tie. Bubb (87), however, put paid to any thoughts the 15th-placed side had of snatching a draw with his late second.

Elsewhere, Basingstoke Town saw off bottom-side Thurrock 3-1 with Tim Sills (18), Wes Daly (pen 27) and Shaun McAuley (29) all on target before a late consolation from Ahmed Deen (80).

Steven Ramsey bagged four goals as struggling Havant & Waterlooville smashed Dorchester Town 6-3, who saw Rico Wilson red carded.

Havant were three goals up inside 30 minutes with Ramsey (3, 17) and Oliver Palmer (27) netting early on.

Sam Malson (33) pulled one back but it was not long before Palmer (52) netted his second. However, Tom Nichols scored the first of two penalties on 57 minutes, only for Ramsey (61, 68) to put the game out of sight with Nichols (pen 85) on target late on.

Goal from David Bryant (24), Omer Riza (26), Osei Sankofa (86) saw Boreham Wood defeat Maidenhead United as Farnborough edged Tonbridge Angels 3-2 with Micheal Charles (12), Orlando Jeffrey (15) and Phillip Page (45) all on target - ensuring that an early Mikel Suarez (1) goal and Rory Hill (70) attempted late fight back counted for nothing.

Finally, 20th-placed Staines Town gained ground on 19th-placed Eastbourne Borough with a 1-0 win, Marc Charles-Smith (6) netting early on to bridge the gap between the two sides to one point.
