Garry Hill's Woking took a step closer towards automatic promotion on Tuesday night, while sixth-placed Dover lost ground on the play-off places.
Hampton & Richmond Borough did their chances of survival no harm with a battling 2-2 draw against Nicky Forster's Dover Athletic at Beveree Stadium.
Goals from Reece Jones (17) and Dean Inman (27) gave the hosts an unexpected two-goal advantage, before Ian Simpempa pulled one back for the Beavers on 39 minutes.
The hosts looked like they might just hold on for a vital win, but Billy Bricknell ended their hopes of a three-point haul when he popped up in the 86th minute to net the equaliser.
Danny Harris found the back of the net for Dartford on 28 minutes to cancel out Alex Wall's 13th-minute effort for 10-man Maidenhead United at York Road.
There was no separating Staines Town and Tonbridge Angels at Wheatsheaf Park as David Wheeler opened for the hosts in the 22nd minute, before Ollie Schulz restored parity on 28 minutes.
Lee Hodges' Truro City further distanced themselves from the relegation zone with a 2-1 triumph over Boreham Wood at Treyew Road.
Marcus Martin put the Tigers ahead on 11 minutes, but their lead didn't last long as David Bryant equalised for the Wood just eight minutes later.
However, it was Stewart Yetton who had the last say with a 56th-minute goal to clinch all three points.
League leaders Woking proved just why they are top of the table with a comfortable 4-1 victory against Dorchester Town at Kingfield Stadium.
Kieran Murtagh fired the Cards into the lead on 31 minutes and Giuseppe Sole calmly converted from the penalty spot in the 50th minute to make it 2-0.
Sole slotted home from the penalty spot, once again, just two minutes later before substitute Joe McNerney further extended their advantage on 75 minutes.
Nathan Walker pulled one back for the visitors in the 78th minute, but it was nothing more than a consolation as Woking eased to victory.
Hampton & Richmond 2-2 Dover
Maidenhead Utd 1-1 Dartford
Staines Town 1-1 Tonbridge Angels
