Tuesday's Blue Square South preview

Second-placed Eastbourne Borough will look to cut Lewes' lead to three points while Welling prepare for the visit of promotion hopefuls Newport County.

Eastbourne Borough v Bognor Regis Town

Eastbourne Borough will be looking to return to winning ways after suffering their first away defeat of the season at Bishop's Stortford.

Manager Garry Wilson will be keen for his side to bounce back with a victory and close the gap on league leaders Lewes to just three points.

However, it would not be wise to underestimate Bognor after they managed to record a 1-0 win over Lewes on Saturday.

Blue SQ have given the home side odds of 15/2 to record a 2-1 victory.

Welling v Newport County

Welling United prepare for the visit of high-flying Newport County to Park View Road as they look to further distance themselves from the dreaded drop zone.

The Wings are precariously perched above the relegation places with 21 points from 26 games while Newport find themselves in fifth place with an impressive total of 45 points from 25 games.

The home side will be in good spirits heading into this crunch encounter following the appointment of manager Andy Ford and his assistant Phil Handford.
