Monday's Blue Square North & South Previews

High-flying Worcester City will welcome former league leaders Team Bath to St.George's Lane in the pick of Monday night's Blue Square South fixtures.

Hinckley v Redditch United

Hinckley United will be looking to advance further up the Blue Square North standings when they take on Redditch on Monday evening.

The hosts are currently in 7th spot and will be eager to continue their winning ways after overcoming Hucknall 2-1 away on Saturday.

However, the Reds are also in fine form and will be brimming with confidence following their 2-0 win over Blyth Spartans.

The visitors' new recruits Asa Charlton, Mark Rawle and Sam Foley will be hoping to make a positive impression on manager Gary Whild.

Chelmsford v Bishops Sford

Chelmsford City will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Blue Square South summit when they host Bishops Stortford on Monday.

The Clarets recorded a 1-0 win over Dorchester on Saturday to pip Team Bath to the top spot and are expected to be without the services of defender Chris Duffy (groin strain) once again.

The visitors on the other hand, will be hoping to bounce back from an embarrassing 4-1 rout suffered at the hands of AFC Wimbledon.

The result marked a four-game winless streak for Bishops, something manager Martin Hayes will want to immediately rectify.

Weston-S-Mare v Newport County

Weston-Super-Mare will entertain Newport County at the Woodspring Stadium with the hope that home advantage will count in their favour.

The Seagulls suffered a 2-0 defeat to Welling United on Saturday and dropped to 12th spot on the standings.

There were no reported injuries from the clash, so manager Tony Ricketts should have no selection problems.

The visitors were also denied three points in their last fixture as Braintree Town edged out a 3-2 win at the Cressing Road Stadium.

Manager Dean Holdsworth will have a full-strength squad at his disposal and could unleash Portuguese striker Rui Branguina on Weston.

Worcester City v Team Bath

Worcester City will welcome Team Bath to St.George's Lane in the pick of Monday night's Blue Square South fixtures.

The high-flying Loyals secured a comfortable 2-0 win at Havant and Waterlooville last time out and boast a seven-match unbeaten streak.

Manager Richard Dryden is expected to name an unchanged line-up as he looks to continue his side's consistent run of results, with the only concern being left-back Shabir Khan's fitness.

Meanwhile, the visitors, who lost their place at the summit after a 3-0 hammering at Hampton & Richmond, have the chance to regain top spot.

The Scholars have a game in hand over leaders Chelmsford and trail them by a solitary point.
