Blue Square South's Midweek Preview

Monday and Tuesday sees six matches take place in the Blue Square South, with a number of teams hoping to pick up valuable points in their fight against relegation.

Havant & Waterlooville have the chance to strengthen their hopes of survival when they travel to Weston-Super-Mare on Monday night.

The Hawks are currently six points clear of the drop zone and a win away from home will do the world of good for the morale around the club.

The Seagulls will be able to call upon captain Charlie Comyn-Platt for the second-last time as he is about to move to Australia.

Jack Compton, Darren Mullings, Mark McKeever and Ashan Holgate will all miss the clash due to injury.

Dorchester find themselves in exactly the same situation as the Hawks, although they suffer a slighter tougher task at St Albans on Tuesday night.

Magpies boss Roy O'Brien will be hoping that his side can bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Maidenhead United over the weekend.

He told the Dorset Echo after the match on Saturday: "This game is gone now and we can only focus on Tuesday."

Phil Walsh will be hoping to feature again after making his debut over the weekend.

St Albans will be looking to build on their 1-1 draw against Newport County over the weekend.

Goalkeeper Lee Butcher was in fine form for the Saints and he will be hoping to carry that performance into this encounter.

Thurrock are in danger of being cut off from safety unless they are able to grab a valuable victory on Tuesday.

The Fleet are currently six points off safety after their 2-2 draw at Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.

Team Bath's season seems to be over as they are safe from the drop and are unlikely to make up the ground required to claim a play-off position.
