Midweek Blue Square South Preview

Braintree Town have the chance to keep their 100% record intact when they travel to Hampton & Richmond on Tuesday evening.

The Iron have been excellent in their opening three matches of the season, shipping in just one goal, while scoring seven.

The Beavers have made a relatively subdued start to the campaign, playing well in all of their matches but winning just the one.

The stats lead to an intriguing game, with both sides desperate for the points.

Maidenhead Utd play host to Weymouth at York Road knowing that a victory is vital, for both sides really.

The two sides are the only teams on one point from three matches, not what the managers would have wanted at the start of the campaign.

Especially Terras boss Matty Hale, who is now concerned for the safety of his job following the 6-2 defeat to Bishop's Stortford.

Hale told the Dorset Echo said: "I think we have realised that too many of the lads are not good enough. We conceded four goals against Stortford that were down to silly mistakes and that has to stop.

"Now, I have to put my hands up because I was the one that brought these players in and it is a case at the moment of how much longer can I give them.

"One thing is for sure and that is I have got to act quick because what is happening at the moment is dangerous for me personally, and for the club.

"Finding people to bring in on the budget we have is not easy but that is no excuse. I signed the players and I have to be judged on that, and to concede five on Tuesday and then six on Saturday is just not good enough."

Weston-Super-Mare will be hoping to pick up their first point of the season at the fourth attempt when they clash with Woking.

The Seagulls have struggled so far and are in desperate need of a boost.

Seagulls boss Andy Gurney told The Mercury: "It's been sloppy errors that have cost us.

"It isn't good enough and they have been told that in no uncertain terms.

"It's not panic stations at the club because we still have nearly the whole season left, but we have to eradicate those mistakes."

Lewes play host to Thurrock in the only match on Wednesday night.

Thurrock have started well, while Lewes have struggled to come to terms with their new league.

Bishops Stortford v Staines Town

Dorchester v Newport County

Eastleigh v Bromley

Hampton & Richmond v Braintree Town

Maidenhead Utd v Weymouth

Welling United v St Albans

Weston-Super-Mare v Woking
