Tuesday's North and South Preview

Workington will be looking to keep their Blue Square North play-off aspirations alive on Tuesday, while Blue Square South play-off hopefuls Woking travel to Maidenhead United.

Blue Square North

Blyth Spartans entertain Gainsborough Trinity at Croft Park with just one point separating them in the Blue Square North standings.

The Spartans find themselves sitting in 12th position with 45 points from 36 games, while Gainsborough sit in 13th place with 44 points from 37 fixtures.

Rock-bottom Harrogate Town play host to Corby Town at Wetherby road as they aim to halt a three-match losing streak.

The Sulphurites sit at the foot of the table with 23 points from 35 games, while Corby occupy 10th place with 51 points from 38 fixtures.

Ninth placed Ilkeston Town welcome strugglers Solihull Moors to New Manor Ground following two straight league defeats.

The Reds lost 1-0 to second-placed Fleetwood Town at the weekend, while the Moors slumped to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of play-off hopefuls Eastwood Town.

Stalybridge Celtic will be aiming to keep their play-off aspirations alive when Northwich Victoria visit Bower Fold.

The Badgers currently find themselves sitting in eighth place with 51 points from 36 fixtures, while the Vics will be aiming to further distance themselves from the drop zone after 3-2 defeat at Alfreton Town on Saturday.

High-flyers Workington will be targeting an eighth straight league victory when 14th placed Hyde United visit Borough Park.

The Reds occupy fourth place with 62 points from 36 games and another victory on Tuesday would see them confirm their place in the end-of-season play-offs.

Blue Square South

Hampton & Richmond Borough will be looking to open a bigger gap on the relegation places when Glenn Pennyfather's Chelmsford City visit Beveree Stadium.

However, they can expect a stern test from Pennyfather's side, who need just one more point to secure their place in the Blue Square South play-offs.

Havant and Waterlooville will be aiming to keep their play-off aspirations alive when they travel to Weston-super-Mare.

The Hawks are currently sitting in eighth place with 62 points from 39 games, while in contrast, the Seagulls sit second-from-bottom with 23 points from 39 fixtures.

Maidenhead United play host to Woking at York Road as they look to secure their league safety.

The Magpies sit in 15th place with 45 points from 38 games, while Woking occupy seventh position with 63 points from 39 games - just two points behind fifth placed Bath City.
