Farnborough v Ebbsfleet

Farnborough FC will be looking to make their home advantage count when Ebbsfleet United visit The Rushmoor Stadium for the Blue Square South play-off final on Sunday afternoon.

The Boro' play host to Liam Daish's Ebbsfleet with a highly-prized place in the 2011/12 Blue Square Bet Premier campaign up for grabs.

Steve King's side may have the home advantage for the crunch clash but they will have to be wary of an Ebbsfleet side who boast the best away form in the Blue Square Bet South this term.

Following his side's play-off semi-final victory over Woking, King told the club's official website: "I can't wait for next Sunday, I'm really looking forward to the game.

"It is going to be an exciting one-off game between two good sides. Ebbsfleet play a similar style to us and there squad is full of talented forwards.

"However we finished as the leagues top scorers and Ebbsfleet have let in over 50 goals this season. We will look to make that count but we know this is going to be the toughest game of our season by far."

Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish is determined to banish the heartache of relegation by steering his side straight back up to the Blue Square Bet Premier with a victory over Farnborough on Sunday.

Daish told the Gravesend Messenger: "I felt let down the way it happened and was handled.

"I took it badly and didn't think we should have gone down and went into this season determined to rub out that negative.

"I do take things personally, that's just me, but it gave me that little bit of drive forward. I have instilled that in the players, that I wanted to take the club back into Conference Premier."

Defender Derek Duncan is nursing an ankle injury and faces a late fitness test, while goalkeeper Preston Edwards could return to the starting line-up after failing a late test prior to the play-off semi-final second leg clash.

If Edwards misses out, Gillingham loanee Daren Hawkes will deputise in his absence once again.
