Leaders Woking host lowly Farnborough, while bottom club Thurrock visit Chelmsford in Blue Square Bet South action on Boxing Day.
The Cardinals, 10 points ahead of Welling at the summit, will seek to reassert their title claims following a 1-1 draw at Thurrock in their previous league test.
They will fancy their prospects against 16th-placed Farnborough, who recently snatched a 2-1 win over Bromley thanks to a late winner from Reece Connolly.
Chelmsford are likewise backing themselves to impress against Thurrock. The Clarets, lying third on the table with 39 points, enjoyed a 3-1 success at Boreham Wood earlier in the week.
Second-placed Welling have a game in hand on Garry Hill's outfit, with their next assignment in the shape of fourth-placed Dartford.
The Wings, on 43 points, were ousted 4-3 last Saturday by Sutton United, while Danny Harris's last-gasp equaliser saw the Darts draw 1-1 with Dorchester in their matching fixture.
Sutton United, in fifth, make the trip to 13th-placed Boreham Wood on the back of a 2-2 draw with Truro City. Their hosts will seek to bounce back from their defeat to the Clarets at Meadow Park.
Dover Athletic, sitting four points off the play-off zone, will welcome 14th-placed Eastbourne Borough to Perry's Crabble Stadium. Nicky Forster's unit thumped Staines Town 3-0 last time out, while the Sports went down 2-1 at home to Weston-super-Mare.
Seventh-placed Dorchester are set to meet relegation-wary Salisbury at The Avenue Stadium. The high-flying hosts, as mentioned, drew with Dartford last time out. Their opponents - who previously lost 2-0 to Maidenhead - are five points above the drop zone but enjoy games in hand on many of their lower table rivals.
Basingstoke - seven points off the play off places - are scheduled to tackle 18th-placed Maidenhead United. The Dragons were held 1-1 by Chelmsford at home in their previous game, with United gaining confidence after their defeat of Salisbury.
Weston-super-Mare, in ninth on 31 points, are up against Truro City at Woodspring Stadium. The Seagulls got the better of Eastbourne last Saturday, while City were denied victory late on in their mentioned stalemate at Sutton.
Tenth-placed Eastleigh, recent 2-0 victors over Boreham Wood, will make the trip to lowly Havant and Waterlooville, who beat Tonbridge Angels 2-1 in their previous league outing.
Mid-table Tonbridge Angels face struggling Bromley at Courage Stadium. Mark Goldberg's charges are two points above the relegation zone after their narrow loss to Farnborough.
Three points should be fiercely contested in Hampton & Richmond Borough's 'six pointer' with Staines Town at Beveree Stadium. The Beavers, unbeaten in five outings, are third-from-bottom with 17 points, three more than the Swans, whose confidence is taking strain after the heavy defeat to Dover. Mark Harper's men drew 3-3 at Truro City in their previous encounter.
