Saturday's Blue Square Bet South preview

Woking will aim to reassert their tile credentials when they host relegation-threatened Bromley in the Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.

The Cards, who are 16-points clear at the summit, were shocked 1-0 by second-bottom Staines Town last weekend. They again face a struggling outfit in the 18th-placed Ravens, with Mark Goldberg's men losing 3-1 to Basingstoke at home in their previous league outing.

Welling, in second on 47 points, face a tricky trip to sixth-placed Weston-super-Mare. The Wings, however, shouldn't be short of confidence after a 5-1 thrashing of mid-table Truro City. The Seagulls followed up a recent 5-0 demolition of Farnborough with a 2-1 victory over Basingstoke on Tuesday.

Truro City, still smarting from their heavy defeat to Welling, have a chance to make amends against Chelmsford at Treyew Road. The White Tigers, in 11th, will hope the third-placed Clarets' 3-2 loss to Sutton United has dented the visitors' confidence.

Fifth-placed Sutton will fancy their prospects when they welcome bottom club Thurrock. Both sides earned a point on Tuesday, with the U's drawing 2-2 with Hampton and Richmond Borough, and Fleet 1-1 with Salisbury.

Dorchester, in eighth, have an eye on the play-off places ahead of their clash with Eastbourne Borough. Alan Knight's charges trail Sutton by five points after pummelling Thurrock 3-0 last weekend. Their opponents, in 15th spot, were previously ousted 1-0 by Maidenhead United.

Maidenhead, in 14th, visit 17th-placed Havant and Waterlooville, with the Hawks recently losing 4-1 to Dartford at West Leigh Park.

Farnborough, sitting just two points above the drop zone, hope to bounce back from their thumping at Weston-super-Mare when they entertain Boreham Wood. The visitors, in 13th spot, drew 1-1 with Sutton in their previous league assignment.
