Tuesday's North and South preview

An in-form FC Halifax side will host Blue Square Bet North play-off rivals Nuneaton Town as they look to extend their unbeaten run.

The Shaymen haven't lost in their last 10 league games and are second in the standings, eight points behind Hyde FC, while Boro are in fourth place, three behind their opponents.

Altrincham will aim to strengthen their play-off push when they welcome Hinckley United to Moss Lane.

The Robins are four points outside the top five while the Knitters are two points clear of the relegation zone and eager to move away from danger.

Bottom side Blyth Spartans target their first league win since September as they prepare to play host to Stalybridge Celtic.

The fifth-placed Badgers are in the thick of the play-off race and will back themselves to claim three points against the Spartans.

Eastwood Town haven't won since October and will be desperate for three points when they clash with Solihull Moors at Coronation Park.

Town are in 21st position and 13 points behind Hinckley, whose 19th place represents safety, while Moors are in 17th, seven clear of the drop zone.

Vauxhall Motors are at home to Boston United as they look to climb out of the bottom three in the standings.

The Motormen are in 20th position, but only two points behind Hinckley, while the Pilgrims are 12th and could climb to 10th with a victory.

Workington have won their last two league ties ahead of their home clash against Gainsborough Trinity.

The Reds have climbed to 15th in the standings, while Trinity are only one point off the top five.

Meanwhile, in the Blue Square Bet South, Eastleigh have a chance to move up to sixth in the standings when they travel to Salisbury City.

The Spitfires are in eighth position but only two points behind Dover, while the Whites are 13th and haven't won in their last five league games.

Bottom side Thurrock are at home to 16th-placed Farnborough who have won their last two games.

The Fleet have only managed three wins so far this season while Boro can move up to 13th with three points.

Welling United can consolidate their position in the play-off spots as they host Havant & Waterlooville at Park View Road.

The Wings are fourth in the standings while the Hawks are still in danger of the drop, six points clear of the relegation zone.
