Leaders Woking will fancy their prospects against lowly Maidenhead, as will Sutton United when they travel to Thurrock in the Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
The Cardinals, held at Hampton & Richmond last time out, are nine points clear of Dartford at the summit, and a mammoth 36 points richer than 17th-placed Maidenhead. The Magpies are smarting from a 3-0 hammering at the hands of mid-table Boreham Wood, with Johnson Hippolyte's men conceding home advantage on the weekend.
Sutton United, in fifth place on the table with 54 points, will expect to inflict further misery on bottom club Thurrock. The Us edged eighth-placed Weston-super-Mare in a five-goal thriller last weekend, while the Fleet suffered yet another reverse in a 3-1 loss at Basingstoke - leaving them six points behind nearest strugglers Hampton and Richmond Borough.
Second-placed Dartford, 4-1 victors over Basingstoke on Monday, next make the trip to Tonbridge Angels. The Angels, 22 points poorer in 11th spot, last salvaged a 1-1 home draw with Boreham Wood thanks to a last-gasp equaliser at Longmead Stadium.
Welling United, three points behind Dartford on 60 points, welcome Bromley eager to make amends for a 4-2 defeat at Staines Town on Monday. The relegation wary visitors can take confidence from a recent shock 1-0 upset of fourth-placed Chelmsford.
Chelmsford will naturally want to return to winning ways when they entertain second-bottom Hampton and Richmond Borough, who as mentioned shared a creditable point with Woking last weekend.
Eastleigh, trailing the league leaders by 24 points, are next up against mid-table Farnborough. The sixth-placed Spitfires enjoy a seven-point advantage on their opponents after defeating Truro City 3-1. The Yellows also prevailed in their previous league assignment, edging Tonbridge Angels 3-2 at Rushmoore Stadium.
Seventh-placed Dover make the trip to Salisbury City, with Nick Forster's men going down 1-0 to Welling last weekend. They should find the going easier against the 14th-placed Whites, who previously lost 2-0 to Dartford.
Weston-super-Mare, in eighth, hope to bounce back from their defeat to Sutton Utd. Their next test comes in the shape of 10th-placed Dorchester, with the Magpies coming off the wrong end of a remarkable 6-3 scoreline with Havant and Waterlooville.
Ninth-placed Basingstoke are likewise looking for three points again as they line up 19th-placed Staines Town. The Swans, however, are buoyed by their impressive upset of Welling.
Boreham Wood, in 13th spot, are scheduled to meet 16th-placed Havant and Waterlooville at West Leigh Park. As mentioned, both sides recorded good wins in their last outings.
In other action, Truro City will clash with Eastbourne Borough, with the hosting White Tigers eight points better off in the standings. Lee Hodges's outfit aim to recover from their loss at Eastleigh, while the Sports were ousted 1-0 by Staines Town last weekend.
