Woking hope to return to winning ways when they visit Havant and Waterlooville, while title rivals Dartford and Welling aim to keep the pressure on in the Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
The Cardinals, who top the standings with 69 points, stumbled to a 2-0 home defeat to Maidenhead last weekend. They will fancy their prospects when they tackle the 17th-placed Hawks at West Leigh Park, with Shaun Gale's men losing 2-0 at ten-man Sutton United on Tuesday.
Dartford and Welling United are just six points off the pace. The Darts, recent 1-0 victors over Tonbridge Angels, next welcome 10th-placed Farnborough to Princes Park. The Yellows sniped a 1-0 success at Eastbourne Borough's expense earlier in the week.
Welling, below Dartford on goal difference, face a tricky trip to fellow high-flyers Chelmsford City. The Wings dispatched Weston-S-Mare 2-0 earlier in the week. The Clarets, with 58 points, are smarting from a 1-0 reverse at Dover in their matching fixture.
Sutton United, in fourth spot with 60 points, are scheduled to meet relegation-threatened Eastbourne Borough at Langney Sports Club. As mentioned, the Sports recently lost to Farnborough, while Sutton got the better of Havant and Waterlooville.
Sixth-placed Dover aim to better their 50-point haul when they make the trip to Basingstoke, who are five points poorer. The Whites can take confidence from their narrow defeat of Chelmsford. Their opponents, meanwhile, went down 2-0 to Tonbridge Angles at The Camrose on Tuesday.
Dorchester, in eighth place, thumped Weston-S-Mare 4-0 in their last league showing. The Magpies are next up against mid-table Boreham Wood, with the hosts previously out-scoring Havant and Waterlooville 4-2.
Ninth-placed Eastleigh are set to clash with 18th-placed Bromley at Courage Stadium. The Spitfires were ousted 1-0 by Farnborough last weekend, while the Lillywhites conceded a stoppage-time goal in a 1-1 draw with Staines Town on Tuesday.
Weston-S-Mare, in 11th, will expect to recover from their defeat at Welling when they entertain bottom club Thurrock at Woodspring Stadium. The Fleet are six points behind nearest strugglers Hampton & Richmond Borough after a 1-0 loss to Sutton.
Tonbridge Angels, in 12th, enter their contest with Maidenhead United fresh off their mentioned win over Basingstoke. Maidenhead are likewise in high spirits following their upset of Woking.
In other action, Hampton and Richmond Borough welcome Truro City, while Staines Town visit Salisbury City.
The second-bottom Beavers were edged by Chelmsford 1-0 last weekend, with 15th-placed City also recently enduring defeat at the hands of Eastbourne.
The third-bottom Swans, as mentioned, drew at Bromley this week, while 14th-placed Salisbury lost 1-0 to Dover.
