Midweek North & South preview

Guiseley will look to close the gap on Blue Square Bet North leaders Hyde FC when they take on Gloucester, while Boreham Wood host Hampton & Richmond in the Blue Square Bet South on Tuesday.

Relegation-threatened Blyth Spartans are at home to mid-table outfit Solihull Moors.

The Spartans are 21st in the standings and are on the cusp of being relegated. They are 14 points from safety and have only six games left, while Moors are 12th with 47 points.

Droylsden are unbeaten in their last five league games and will host a struggling Harrogate Town outfit at Butcher's Arms.

The Bloods are 10th in the standings while the Sulphurites are 18th, only one point clear of the drop zone.

Second-placed Guiseley are set to host Gloucester City at Nethermoor Park.

The Lions are five points behind league leaders Hyde, but have a game in hand. The Tigers, meanwhile, are 14th, five points above the relegation zone.

Jim Harvey's Stalybridge Celtic will welcome Bishop's Stortford to Bower Fold.

Celtic are sixth in the standings and only two points behind fifth-placed Gainsborough Trinity, who have played one more game, while Bishops are two points clear of the danger zone.

Vauxhall Motors will host Hinckley United at Rivacre Park as they aim to move out of the bottom three.

The Motormen are in 21st position but could climb up to 15th with a victory, while the 18th-placed Knitters are level on points with their hosts but boast a better goal difference.

Meanwhile, in the Blue Square Bet South on Monday, 10th-placed Boreham Wood host 19th-placed Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Wood could move up to eighth with the three points, while the Beavers could climb to 17th.

On Tuesday, Tommy Widdrington's Eastbourne Borough are at home to Dartford.

The Sports are 16th in the standings and six points clear of the drop zone, while the second-placed Darts still have an outside chance to snatch the title, as they are eight points behind Woking.
