Charlie Comyn-Platt
Comyn-Platt rejoins Seagulls
Charlie Comyn-Platt has rejoined Weston-super-Mare after a spell in Australia's Premier Division of the Football West State League.
The 24-year-old, who made 31 appearances for The Seagulls, joined the ECU Joondalup Soccer Club in 2009 in a move that was made possible by Comyn-Platt's former Bolton Wanderers' team-mate Jamie Gibb, who is currently with Joondalup.
The central defender will rejoin his old teammates as soon as possible in a bid to help ease their relegation woes. Weston-super-Mare are second from bottom in the Blue Square South just five points above bottom-club Weymouth.
Comyn-Platt started his career at Bolton Wanderers before moving to Swindon and then to Rochdale. He first signed for Weston in November 2007.
