Adie Britton
Hayes and Yeading manager Garry Haylock is wary ahead of his team's season opener with Bath City on Saturday.
United will host the Blue Square Bet Premier newcomers at Church Road and Haylock expects there to be some teething problems following the recent additions of Ben Wright, James Mulley and Ahmed Deen.
"The difficulty is getting them to all work together straight away," Haylock told the Uxbridge Gazette.
"We have some difficult ones in the first five games, but I would be disappointed if we have the same start as last season when we never won for seven games.
"We should be able to pick up some points from the first few games. Our squad is still not set though, but I am quite happy with the mix that we have so far.
"The squad will probably not be complete until the end of August at the earliest."
Bath, meanwhile, have bolstered their squad with the likes of ex-Bristol City winger Scott Murray and former Exter City midfielder Joe Burnell.
The latter will, however, miss the clash with injury but midfielder Adam Connolly is likely to return from his respective knock.
The visitors return to non-league's top flight after a 13-year absence and will be supervised by Adie Britton, who is full of respect for his opposite number at United.
"Garry is a really good manager and a really good guy," he said.
"They have always been a good football side and pass the ball well. It is a massive challenge for us and we know it is going to be a difficult game."
