Garry Wilson
Eastbourne Borough could be handed a fitness boost when they host Hayes & Yeading at Langney Sports Club on Tuesday night.
Andy Atkin, who missed the opening day 4-2 defeat to Tamworth, hopes to shake off an ankle complaint and could give club boss Garry Wilson extra options in midfield.
Wilson will be hungry for early points this campaign to avoid a repeat of last term's relegation scrap. The Sports only secured their survival on the final day of the season by ousting eventual Play-Off winners Oxford United 1-0.
Meanwhile, United boss Garry Haylock is unlikely to change the team that beat Blue Square Bet Premier newcomers 2-1 on Saturday.
Once again he will be without Jamie Hand and Daniel Wishart, as the duo serve out the second game of a three-match ban.
United striker Ben Wright is likely to be a watched man this time round having netted a brace on his debut against City.
