Grimsby Town will be looking to keep their unbeaten start to the season intact when they play host to Hayes & Yeading on Saturday afternoon.
The Mariners started the season with a 1-0 victory at big-spending Crawley Town before being held at home by York City in a goalless draw.
However, Town manager Neil Woods is expecting a tough encounter against an unpredictable Hayes & Yeading outfit.
Woods told This Is Grimsby: "Some people have said this is our first proper Conference game and that might be right.
"They won't have a massive following and I'm sure everyone at Hayes will admit their aim is just to stay in this league.
"But we'll treat them with the same respect we did with Crawley and York and won't be underestimating them.
"Some people may think it's a foregone conclusion and I've heard some fans looking to the Darlington game, but we aren't - this is our next game and the most important right now.
"Yes, they lost 5-0 on Tuesday, but I know that two games are never the same.
"If you have aspirations to challenge at the top then you have to deal with games like this professionally and take everyone match on merit.
"We'll do that and will look to improve on Tuesday and get better again.
"We'll have to be patient because I expect Hayes to get a lot of men behind the ball to try to frustrate us.
"I've told the players they will need patience in possession and the supporters will need to be patient as well.
"Of course, we want to score goals early in games but we may have to work hard and bide our time."
Charles Ademeno and Lewis Gobern may be available for selection ahead of their original return dates. The duo could make the squad after returning to training this week.
Woods is delighted to have the duo back in contention and revealed that there are no other concerns ahead of the clash.
"Everyone is okay from midweek and we've been boosted by the return to training of Charles and Lewis," he added.
"They joined in (at training) and looked lively so that's promising news for us."
Hayes & Yeading defender Adam Green is relishing the trip to Grimsby, revealing that this is the type of match he plays football for.
Green told The Uxbridge Gazette: "I would rather be playing in front of a big crowd at Grimsby than going to Southport.
"These are the big games that we want to play in and it should lift us, we should enjoy the chance and hopefully we can raise our games.
"It will be a very hard game for us, but we will be working hard in training and we have to put Tuesday's result right."
Jamie Hand and Daniel Wishart will both miss the encounter as they serve the final game of their respective three-match bans.
Forward Ben Wright will be eager to get back on the scoresheet following his opening-day brace against Bath City.
United lost 5-0 to Eastbourne Borough in midweek and manager Garry Haylock will be looking for a better performance from his charges at Blundell Park.
