Luton secured their place in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final despite losing 2-1 to Wrexham in their semi-final second leg clash on Monday afternoon.
The Hatters went into the tie with a 2-0 lead from the first leg and extended their advantage with a 25th minute George Pilkington effort.
The second half was all Wrexham with Adrian Cieslewicz pulling a goal back with 63 minutes gone before Andy Morrell further reduced the deficit with 77 minutes on the clock.
But they were unable to add a third and take the tie to extra time with Luton holding on for a 3-2 aggregate win.
The Hatters will face York City in the final after the Minstermen defeated Mansfield Town 1-0 on Monday and 2-1 over two legs.

"That was nail biting stuff. Well done to Luton Town for digging in and holding on. Good tactical changes by Morrel which brought them back into the game and made it extremely exciting. But comiserations to you. 98 pts and not get prometed must be so hard to bear for your fans and players alike. but rules are rules i guess. COYH !!!"
