Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth could be tempted to name an unchanged starting line-up for the derby clash with Grimsby Town on Boxing Day.
The Red Imps defeated Forest Green Rovers 2-0 last weekend to earn themselves some breathing room in the bottom half of the Blue Square Bet Premier standings.
Goalkeeper Joe Anyon is struggling to shrug off a hamstring strain and is expected to take up a place on the substitutes' bench, once again.
Long-term injury victim Andy Hutchinson remains on the treatment table, while Sam Smith misses out again with a foot injury sustained against Wrexham.
Adam Watts and Josh O'Keefe are not expected to play any part in this fixture after being informed they have been made available for loan.
Holdsworth has warned his players not to go overboard over the Christmas weekend as they would risk losing their place in the starting line-up.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "I will ask my players to do a certain amount of work in a certain amount of time and if they do not, we will know because we are giving them monitors to take home.
"If that monitor shows they have not done their work on Boxing Day morning prior to the game against Grimsby, they will be fined two weeks' wages and they'll be dropped.
"We have a duty to the club and secondly to the fans who pay their money to watch them.
"Is that hardline? No, I think I think it's just what we should be doing.
"If it turns out they have had too much turkey and a couple of glasses of port, then they are not ready for the next day."
Grimsby Town joint managers Paul Hurst and Rob Scott can call on striker Rob Duffy after he completed a one-match suspension.
Duffy is vying for a starting berth along with Anthony Elding, while winger Michael Coulson is expected to start.
Looking ahead to the clash, Coulson told This is Grimsby: "The atmosphere at Lincoln in pre-season was brilliant and that was just a Lincolnshire Cup match.
"We are all really excited, a win would be the perfect Christmas present to the fans."
