Fleetwood Town v Cambridge Utd

Cambridge United manager Jez George has tipped Fleetwood Town to claim Blue Square Bet Premier honours this season.

"My guess is Fleetwood will win it just from their strength in depth and the options they've got," he told Cambridge News.

"They're on a massive roll and there's a belief they're going to go up."

The mid-table U's visit the league leaders at Highbury Stadium on Saturday, with George wary of the Cod Army's attack.

"They play with the front four having quite a lot of freedom and movement, but they've got so many options going forward," he said.

"They'll be hard to handle, but we have to have belief in ourselves that we can cause them problems.

"If you just sit in and allow them to have pressure for 90 minutes, it's inevitable what the result will be.

"We've chiselled out some good results away from home, and that's been based on organisation, discipline and keeping a good shape."

In team news, United - who lost 1-0 to Tamworth in their last league outing - are boosted by the return to fitness of Andy Pugh, while Ryan Jackson could make his belated debut on the right wing as Ashley Carew struggles with a knee problem.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood, held by the Lambs last time out, are eager to extend their two-point lead on title rivals Wrexham.

"We are playing to get into the Football League," club boss Micky Mellon told the Blackpool Gazette.

"There is no bigger gift that we can give to the town of Fleetwood than a prize like that.

"We have to keep winning, and Wrexham know they have to do the same.

"The first one to blink is in trouble."
