Morris makes Kidderminster pledge

New Kidderminster Harriers signing Lee Morris has vowed to prove his detractors wrong by putting his injury problems firmly behind him.

30-year-old Morris suffered a serious knee injury during his time with Leicester in the Championship and his critics claim he has never fully recovered from that setback.

Morris told the Express & Star: "I don't feel I have got anything to prove, I know that I can play and if I get a run of games under my belt I will be OK.

"If I play enough games the goals will come, wherever I have been I have done that because I have always been confident in my ability.

"My career could have gone differently if I hadn't have had those injuries, but that is the way it has turned out.

"It's frustrating to be always talking about it, they are in the past, but because I have kept on moving and moving that is the first thing people think.

"It's down to me to prove them wrong, which I have no problems in trying to do."
