Kidderminster 0-2 Fleetwood Town

Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Fleetwood Town extended their lead at the top of the standings to eight points with a comfortable 2-0 win over Kidderminster Harriers.

The hosts started brightly and created a number of opportunities in the opening half. One in particular fell for Marvin Johnson, who sent his effort wide from six yards out.

However, eight minutes into the second half it was the Fishermen who hit the front. Andy Mangan netted the opener with an 18-yard strike.

Just past the hour mark, the points were secured when Richard Brodie's close-range shot was deflected into the back of the net by Lee Vaughan following an Alan Goodall corner-kick.

The result puts second-placed Wrexham under ever increasing pressure with the gap widening to eight points, while the Harriers are four points below the final play-off spot, in seventh.

Kidderminster bookings: Malbon, Demetriou.

Fleetwood bookings: Brodie.
