Forest Green Rovers is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up for the visit of Histon to the New Lawn on Saturday afternoon.
Dave Hockaday's side beat Crawley Town 1-0 on Tuesday to boost their chances of beating the drop.
The Rovers are still in the relegation zone but a victory over the Stutes this weekend could see them climb out of the relegation places.
Striker Isaiah Rankin will miss out again as he serves the final game of a two-match suspension.
Histon head to Gloucestershire this weekend with the knowledge that one point will secure their Blue Square Premier safety.
However, manager Alan Lewer is keen to avoid heaping any more pressure on his players, telling Cambridge News: "If you try to put pressure on the players or the club, that won't work.
"We've got to go to Forest Green, be focussed and we've got two options - we either stay in the game as long as we can or we go there to try to win it.
"I'll take a point as that will secure our safety. But if we go down there and win it then that will be fantastic as it will take all the pressure off."
The Stutes could hand a surprise starting berth to goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt even though he turned down a new contract at the start of March.
Fellow custodian David Knight is rated doubtful with a thigh strain and Histon are considering recalling Naisbitt from his loan spell at Peterborough United.
Danny Wright (ban) and Gareth Gwillim (knee) and Lanre Oyebanjo (knock) will all miss out.
