Forest Green v Hayes & Yeading

Forest Green Rovers boss Dave Hockaday expects Hayes and Yeading United to get physical on Saturday.

The Blue Square Bet Premier outfits will meet at The New Lawn, with United winning the reverse fixture in October.

Hockaday told This is Gloucestershire: "Hayes are a really awkward team who can play strange formations.

"All the reports we've had suggest it will be a tough, physical battle and we will need to match their endeavour."

Hockaday, whose side are 13th on the table, naturally wants to finish the season strongly after all but ensuring their survival.

"It's a great credit to the team that we got ourselves safe four or five games ago, and I'm sure our supporters would have snapped your hand off if that scenario was offered at the start of the season," he said.

He added: "It's very possible to catch two, three or four teams above us in the table.

"We'll try to pick them off one by one and it's very important to lay down a marker for next season."

In Rovers team news, Chris Todd, Curtis McDonald, James Rowe and Reece Styche are back in contention after playing for the reserve side at AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday afternoon.

Centre-back Jamie Turley is also expected to shake off the toe problem that kept him out of last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Grimsby Town.

However, Al Bangura remains sidelined with a knee injury, while James Collins will serve the final instalment of a three-match ban.

Meanwhile United, recent 1-0 victors over fellow strugglers Kettering, are desperate for points as they reside in the relegation zone in 21st spot.

The Middlesex-based club will be missing Freddie Warren, who has two more games left in his suspension.
