Yemi Odubade
Stevenage Borough returned to the top of the Blue Square Premier table thanks to an emphatic 4-0 victory over struggling Barrow at Broadhall Way on Tuesday night.
Boro's win, coupled with Oxford United's shock defeat to Hayes & Yeading, meant a return to the top was the reward for an excellent performance.
Yemi Odubade was the hero for the home side as he hit a superb hat-trick to make sure the points would be staying with Boro.
Odubade got the ball rolling for the home side when he opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a neat finish.
At this point the home side were in complete control and they deservedly doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Scott Laird found the back of the net.
The home side came out after the break determined to add to their lead, but they had to wait until the 59th minute to do so.
Odubade grabbed his second with another accomplished finish before completing his hat-trick with a thunderbolt with six minutes left on the clock.
Stevenage completely dominated their visitors throughout the 90 minutes and thoroughly deserved the three-point haul.
