Moss Lane
Altrincham moved ahead of Kidderminster in the Blue Square Premier table as they won the midtable battle at Moss Lane on Saturday.
Double salvoes apiece from Chris Denham and Robbie Matthews saw the match level-pegged at 2-2 at the break but Greg Young's 48th minute goal proved to be the winner and saw Alty edge an exciting five-goal thriller.
But it was the visiting side who make early inroads and took the lead as early as the 14th minute when Matthew rose highest to head Chris McPhee's delivery past Stuart Coburn and into the back of the net.
It took just over ten minutes for the Robins to restore parity through a Denham strike.
The match continued to ebb and flow as two evenly-matched outfits searched for another goal.
It came in the 42nd minute when Adam Carden's cross from the flank was steered past Coburn by Denham, who completed his brace.
But Steve Burr's men found an instant response just a minute later as Matthews headed into the goals from a Dean Bennett delivery.
Three minute after the break Graham Heathcote's charges took the lead through Young's potent strike from a dozen yards out - a lead they would not relinquish.
The result sees the Robins move into tenth place in the league at Kidderminster's expense with Burr's side now 11th.
